Harrison, NJ (Sports Network) - Red Bull New York and D.C. United will have to wait until Thursday to settle their Eastern Conference semifinal encounter after snow forced MLS to postpone Wednesday's match.

Hurricane Sandy caused the first leg, originally scheduled to be played at Red Bull Arena, to be moved to D.C. last Saturday, meaning that New York would host the second leg on Wednesday.

But a steady accumulation of snow on the field has now forced the match to be moved to Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
