Wizards waive Livingston, Barron

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards have waived guard Shaun Livingston and center/forward Earl Barron.

Livingston signed with the Wizards last month and averaged 3.7 points with 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 17 games, including four starts. He previously played 26 games for Washington during the 2009-10 season.

The well-traveled veteran has also played for the Clippers, Heat, Thunder, Bobcats and Bucks in an eight-year career.

Barron, who signed as a free agent in September, averaged 2.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 11 games.
