Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves announced that head coach Rick Adelman will remain away from the team for Wednesday's game at the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Adelman also did not coach the Timberwolves during Tuesday's contest with Atlanta at the Target Center due to a personal matter, with assistant coach Terry Porter directing the team to a 108-103 victory over the Hawks.

Porter will again serve as acting head coach against the Thunder.
