Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Vinnie Catricala crushed a two-run home run that scored the decisive runs as Seattle held off the Los Angeles Angels, 6-4, in Cactus League action.
Jesus Montero and Michael Saunders each finished with two hits for Seattle, which received four scoreless frames from right-hander Blake Beavan in the start.
Jared Weaver matched Beavan in his two innings of work while giving up three hits and striking out two. The Angels were held at bay until a three-run ninth that featured a two-run triple by Taylor Lindsey. Doug Deeds flied out to right to end the rally.
