Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota
Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Brian Dinkelman had two singles, an RBI and scored twice as part of a seven-run fourth inning that helped the Minnesota Twins to an 11-6 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday.
Dinkelman finished with three hits, including a two-run home run, and four runs batted in, while Brian Dozier also smacked a two-run shot and knocked in three runs for the Twins.
Starter Matt Maloney allowed one run on four hits and a walk through three innings for the win.
James McDonald was touched for 10 runs on seven hits and seven walks in 3 2/3 innings for Pittsburgh to take the loss. Greg Picart had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Pirates.
