Another Drew heading to Boston

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Red Sox have reportedly agreed to terms with shortstop Stephen Drew.

According to the Boston Globe, the deal is for one year. CBS Sports reports it to be worth $9.5 million.

Drew, the younger brother of former Red Sox outfielder J.D. Drew, split last season with Arizona and Oakland. He batted a combined .223 in 79 games with seven homers and 28 runs batted in. The Athletics acquired Drew in August and he helped the club to the AL West title.

The 29-year-old Drew broke into the majors with the Diamondbacks in 2006 and has a career average of .265 with 77 homers and 349 RBI.
