From giant tractors to robotic cow milking machines and farm equipment of all sizes, day one of the World Ag Expo had a little bit of something for everyone.

Expo Chairman Joe Raney is hoping sunny weather will help break attendance records, which is good news for the local economy.

"We are talking in the millions, we really are," said Raney.

In fact so many vendors applied this year Raney was forced to turn people away. Fortunately for vendor Matt Daley, he and his new Apollo cow milking system were one of the more than 1400 that made the cut.

“The Apollo milk system demonstrated here behind me is an all new system that automatically sanitizes the cow after she's done milking," said Daley.

Advancements in cow sanitation weren't all. New bigger and better tractors again drew some of the largest crowds.

"This one right behind us is our staggered tractor that we offer in narrow belts," said Case Tractor employee Dave Cross.

Ultimately Raney hopes it’s the joy of seeing all the new products, regardless of their use, that will keep people coming back.
