A woman is rescued from a mobile home fire.

It broke out around 11:30 a.m. near Home and California.

An off duty fire battalion chief happened to be driving by and noticed the smoke and flames.

He rushed into the home to help a woman inside who was trying to put out the flames.

He pulled her out and called for backup.

The woman wasn't injured and crews were able to keep the flames from spreading to nearby structures.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
