One out of four families in the Central Valley does not have enough food for their families. Community Food Bank is teaming up with Manco Abbott Real Estate Management for the "We CAN Help" drive this weekend.
The goal is to collect 20,000 pounds of canned goods at 18 different locations on Saturday, February 11th, from 9 a.m - 2 p.m. Also that day, engineers will take the donations and create "Can-structures". The more cans collected, the bigger the creation.
Here are the drop-off points for donations:
Villagio Shopping Center - Blackstone/Nees, Fresno
Warner Building - Palm/Herndon, Fresno
Manco Abbott Office - Bullard/Fresno, Fresno
Mary's Vineyard - Ben Maddox/Noble, Visalia
There are also more than one dozen apartment complexes in Fresno, Clovis, Visalia and Lemoore that will collect your cans, as well.
