The sweet sound of water. People living in the gated community of New Haven haven't heard the sound since their water was shut off Saturday after a water line broke.
"It's nice to know I'll be able to take a shower," said resident, Justin Simms.
Simms says one of the first things he did was load his dishwasher.
"Everything got so far behind and it's nice to kind of catch up on things," said Simms.
Fresno Plumbing, a private company arrived Monday to fix the problem, but most people in the neighborhood say they're frustrated with the lack of communication throughout the whole process.
"There was no warning whatsoever. We were using our facilities as normal," said resident, Jesse Madsen.
An update notice from Northstar Management, the company that oversees the property, was attached to their door.
"I would think email, or texting, or some other modern form of technology would work just fine," said resident, Valerie Fisher.
The water was up and running around 8:45 Monday evening. Northstar Management says the asphalt where the line broke should be repaired shortly.
"I think the main focus now is to try to figure out a way to make sure in the future things are in place to where there is some sort of relief," said Simms.
Final repairs are expected to be made Tuesday. The water will once again be shut off from 8AM to 5PM.
