The Visalia Fire Department is investigating a fire at a local school that will cost approximately $130,000.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire at Linwood Elementary School in Visalia on Friday August 31 at 10:34PM.

When they arrived, firefighters found heavy black smoke coming from the middle of a classroom.

It took firefighters 20 minutes to have the fire under control.

There were no injuries, but the classroom sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage.
