As of Monday morning, a Visalia homeless camp has been shut-down. Sheriff’s deputies handed out “Final Notices” yesterday. The homeless camp was located on “Private Property” along the Saint John’s River in Tulare County.
By Monday afternoon, everyone will be gone from the site. Deputies spent several hours collecting belongings that had been left behind.
All of the items left behind were taken to the Sheriff’s Department in Visalia and will have 90 days to pick them up.
