Firefighters from the Valley are helping out on a fire near the Mexican border.
The 2,000 acre wildfire is burning in the Campo area of San Diego County.
The fire is 40% contained and evacuation orders have been lifted.
On Monday, a body was found inside one of 20 burned-out homes.
Cal Fire in Tulare started getting requests for help after the fire broke out Sunday.
Captain Aldo Gonzalez with Tulare Cal Fire said, "Initially it was for engines and then three hours after the fire started it was for crews and then the last strike team of hand crews headed out this morning."
Cal Fire in Fresno and Madera also sent crews to the fire lines.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
