Fresno police are looking for suspects after a violent night on Wednesday.

A 15-year-old boy was hit by gunfire while he was walking with friends around 11:00 p.m. on Recreation between El Monte and Montecito.

The teenager was seriously wounded and is currently in critical condition.

Around that same time, Fresno police got a report of another shooting. Lt. Tom Rowe with the Fresno Police Department said, "The Fresno Police Department also received a call from CRMC hospital regarding the victim of a gunshot injury who arrived by private vehicle, who had walked into the ER. That male adult has non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. It does not appear that these two incidents were related."

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
