"Less guns, less violence" he says. Where is your proof? It's certainly not Australia! They banned guns and now there are move victims because the law abiding citizens are unarmed. So lets outlaw guns and get them off of the streets. In that case, we should make heroine and cocaine illegal too so people stop using those. But let's not stop there, lets make driving illegal because you don't need a car. Everyone can walk everywhere and then there won't be any more car accidents. That solves that problem too. Here are some statistics: when someone brandishes a weapon with intent to do harm to innocent people and the police respond, on average more than 9 people are killed. When an armed civilian responds, less than 3 people are killed on average. "Do not give up freedom for temporary safety" -Benjamin Franklin

So the liquor store owner is pretty much saying that it's ok for someone to point a gun at you as long as he doesn't shoot you? What kind of logic is that? If pointing a gun at you isn't already a violent action then what is? That's like me telling a terrorist that it's ok to put a bomb next to me as long as he doesn't detonate it. I can't believe he's saying we should just cower in fear and let the bad guys do what they want.
