There were lots of accidents on Valley roads because of the dense fog Tuesday morning.

At least three people were injured in one accident at Avenue 13 1/2 and Road 24 in Madera County.

CHP says a car ran a stop sign and plowed into the side of a truck.

Two children were among those hurt in the accident.

The CHP tells CBS47 that slowing down in the fog would prevent a lot of fog related accidents.

CHP officer Vance Wedeking said, "The first thing you need to do is turn on your headlights on so that other traffic can see you. And watch your speed - you need to slow down. The roadway is wet, it's still slick out here and obviously we can't see quite as far, so we need to adjust our speed accordingly."

No names have been released on those involved in the crash.
