What started off as a regualr afternoon soon turned violent.

"I seen in on TV, but I never thought it would happen to me," said a man hit by the truck, Darrell Knox.

Darrell Knox was in line ordering lunch when he was all of a sudden caught by surprise.

"We looked to the right and we just seen this truck come burling through the window," said Knox.

Broken glass, furniture and debris now scatter the floor.
Police say the 21-year-old driver says he collapsed into his uncle's lap, causing his foot to punch the gas.  The uncle tried to put the truck in neutral, but accidentally shifted into reverse. The truck jumped the curb and hit a car in the parking lot and headed straight into the reastaurant.

"It sounded like a sonic boom, like an airplane going overhead," said Willie Camaran, owner of Greens N Things floral shop.

Camaran's flower shop is right next door. She said if the truck had pushed in a little further, she could have been hurt.

"Those were people buying sandwiches and when that truck came through, it came right through where they were buying sandwiches," said Camaran.

Police say six people were taken to nearby hospitals, including Knox.

"The truck hit me, threw me against the wall. I got hit with a coke machine...fell on me," said Knox.

One woman was pinned under the truck.
Police say the driver was driving without a license.

"It's a disaster, that's the last thing a business owner wants to see," said the Subway owner, Beant Sandhu.

Knox said he's thankful nobody was killed.
