Fresno police say an elderly man lost control of his truck, first hitting a fire hydrant, then three people, and finally stopping when it ran into a home.  It happened around 4pm on Palm and Hedges.

The pedestrians, a woman and two teeans, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  The driver refused medical attention.  Someone was inside the home at the time, but no one was hurt.

An officer said the driver reported a malfunction in his truck.  The driver was not cited but officers say he may have to go to the DMV to determine whether he should continue driving.
