The two teenaged brothers are accused of gunning down two young men just days before Christmas.
Jarrad and Jerry Beard says they are innocent of last winter's deadly shooting.
Prosecutors say they are ready to present evidence that the brothers were responsible for the deaths of 18-year-old Justin Hesketh and 16-year-old Brandon Moore.
The crime began when Hesketh and Moore were waiting at the intersection to make a left turn on Polk Avenue.
The Beard brothers walked in front of Hesketh's truck and mean looks were exchanged.
Police say the pickup started to pull forward, at which point Jarred Beard pulled a handgun and shot at the truck.
Hesketh thought his truck had been hit by a rock and he and Moore chased after the suspects.
Police say at that point, the Beard brothers turned and opened fire on Hesketh and Moore, killing them both.
The Beard's attorney says it all happened in self defense.
