A local artist says a sculpture he created over 30 ago was stolen.
Sculptor Chris Sorensen says the sculpture was take from the yard of his son's Sunnyside home on Monday and was probably taken to sell as scrap metal.
Sorenson says the sculpture is worth about $15,000 but the metal is only worth about $20.
Sorensen has sculptures around the Fresno area, including the large heart in front of Saint Agnes Medical Center.
