Thank you to the people of the Central Valley. Because of your generosity, we collected over $3,000, 80 turkeys, food, clothing and toys during the CBS47 On Your Side Collection Drive.
The donations were turned over the Fresno Rescue Mission, who will be providing a Thanksgiving meal to many people who would otherwise have none.

Join CBS47, The Fresno Rescue Mission, Spirit 88.9 and the On Your Side Companies for the On Your Side Collection Drive on Wednesday, November 14th to help our neighbors in need.
The Fresno Rescue Mission needs everything from food, to toys and household items. They not only provide food and overnight shelter for the homeless but they also have recovery programs to meet the physical, education and spiritual needs of men, women and children in our community.
In an effort to help the Fresno Rescue Mission get ready for Thanksgiving, CBS47 teamed up with them to collect donations of food, clothing, diapers, toiletries and monetary donations as well.
People of the Central Valley can show their support by bringing donations to the On Your Side Collection Drive at the CBS47 Studios from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CBS47 is located at 4880 N. First Street, across from Fashion Fair Mall. There will be volunteers to take your donations so you don't even need to get out of your car.

If you can't make it by the collection drive on Wednesday, Spirit 88.9 will be collecting turkeys on Saturday, November 17th.
Drop off a frozen turkey from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sonic Drive-In at Herndon & Fowler and get a T-Shirt. (First 100 people)
While your there, play a game of Turkey Toss for a chance to win prizes!
