Drugs, a stolen car, and a parolee add up to a wild chase on the streets of Fresno.
Police say they spotted a stolen car Tuesday evening at Palm and Shaw and attempted to make a stop, but the driver sped off.
The short chase ended just a few blocks later when the driver crashed into a traffic light at Palm and Shields.
The suspect was quickly taken into custody.
Sgt. Bob Reynolds with the Fresno Police Department said, " The driver was a parolee - priors for auto theft. He was taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle, some drugs, hit and run and felony evading."
