they need to get rid of the low life people there. that will bring the people with money back to down town . untill you clean up the that they will never go there I know i wont because of that one thing. Its nasty there bums every where homeless people stealing begging what ever.Thats why people with the money to vitalize down town WONT. you people just dont get it. get rid of the trash and it will get clean.

Fresno Needs a face lift. I have lived here for over 55 years and have seen it go down fast. What we need is to keep the street like it is and have business come in that will bring foot traffic. Look at San Fransisco, Los Angeles, New York they all have business that bring them in. Put a Target, Walmart, Play Theater, movies, dollar store, Antiques, Car Accessories, Trophies, Pool hall, games & computer, coffee shops w/ computer access, fast food restuarants, ceramic making, etc. Make downtown Fresno people friendly & a place That kids & parents, can go and pass the time and spend their money. Have more things like the Ice Rink go BIG NEXT YEAR! Have real big time singers come and put on a show for us like NY. Downtown can be BIG again if you let it and stop wasting time deciding. Make it HAPPEN!!! Don't take out the walkway this brings people to come here too. What you need to do is knock down the old hotel and put parking lot & build high same to the area near Chichanshi Park. Don't charge to park Fashion Fair & Manchester don't charge so why Downtown. This again will bring more people to come & don't have to worry about getting parking tickets. People and even me are scared about that, can't afford the funds to pay for them. Don't be so closed minded and take chances that could work and if not you have all the power to change it again. Send out surveys online and ask the people what would they like to have downtown and post on all channels & radio to send their input!
