South Valley student arrested for terrorist threats

A 14-year-old suspected gang member from Woodlake was arrest for allegedly making threats against rival gang members at Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia.

A message posted on Facebook tipped off police and school administrators about the threat.

The teenager was apparently planning a shooting on campus sometime on Friday.

The boy was arrested before he could carry out his plot. 

The unidentified teen has been charged with making terrorist threats.
