South Valley father facing abuse charges

A baby in the South Valley is in critical condition and his father is facing child abuse charges.

37-year-old Bryan Hvass was booked into the Tulare County Jail after doctors say the baby had internal injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.

The baby remains in critical condition at Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia.
