Fresno police have identified 30-year-old Alan Alvarez as the suspect in a shooting last month.

Investigators say Alvarez is a gang member and is wanted for shooting a 23-year-old man in the area of College and Beechwood.

The victim was shot several times but survived his injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
