A short robbery spree came to an end Tuesday night in Central Fresno. The suspect is accused of robbing two businesses and then trying to rob several people in the parking lot.
Fresno Police say the suspect was armed with an Airsoft gun.
Officers were able to arrest the suspect after he tried to run away.
Lieutenant Mark Salazar with the Fresno Police Department said, “The suspect entered this Food King Liquor Store, pointed the handgun at the clerk, demanded money, took money from that business -- He went over to the pizza place, and did the same thing, pointed a handgun at the person working there, took some money from the pizza place and then fled.”
Police have not yet identified the suspect who has given them several different names.
They believe he may be a runaway minor, possibly from Merced.
