Merced police are investigating a robbery that sent one man to the hospital.
The robbery occurred on the 3300 block of R Street in Merced at 5:52AM on August 17.
Merced police stated the victim was traveling south on R Street on his bicycle, when two males in their early 20’s approached him.
The two suspects beat the victim unconscious and stole his bicycle along with his wallet.
The victim suffered facial injuries and was transported to Mercy hospital for treatment.
Any information in the case is to be reported to Merced Police.
