An inaugural bike ride was held to honor the 7-year-old Fresno boy killed by a suspected drunk driver.

Dozens of people showed up to show support for Donovan Maldonado who was killed while riding his bicycle across Shepherd in North Fresno.

His dad and sister were both injured in that crash as well.

The Fresno Cycling Club put on the fundraiser for the Maldonado family.

The suspected drunk driver, former Central High Coach Loren LeBeau heads back to court later this month.
