A new report on the lack of jobs in the Central Valley is getting national attention.

The US News & World Report story says the worst place to find a job in the United States is right here in the Valley.

Topping the list is Merced, which as of December had an unemployment rate of 18.7%. Fresno is second, followed by Modesto, Stockton and then the Visalia/Porterville area.
