The Supreme Court upheld the Constitution and California must reduce the number of prisoners it packs in like feedlot cattle. Increasing density in women's prisons to free beds for men prisoners is not meeting the Court's mandate. Those who complain that prisoners are treated too well in U.S. prisons know little of what goes on behind high prison walls where the public cannot see.
