Fresno County sheriff's deputies discovered a marijuana grow on a farm near North and West, south of Fresno.

Federal drug agents and the Sheriff's Department worked most of the day on Tuesday to remove all the plants after serving a search warrant.

This was supposed to be medical marijuana and doctor's recommendations were posted at the site, but under federal law, all marijuana is illegal.

The raid is part of Operation Mercury, which will continue for the next several months.

Thirteen people were questioned and released. So far there have been no arrests and no charges have been filed.
