The Tulare County Sheriff's Department is now investigating an officer involved shooting in Tulare.
A Tulare police officer shot a man around midnight in a neighborhood near Bardsley & E Street.
Police showed up for a disturbance called but when they arrived, they heard gunshots.
A few minutes later, they found the man they say was firing the weapon and shot him.
The suspect was taken to the hospital but his condition is not known at this time.
