We now know the name of the two men killed in a plane crash in Kern County on Sunday.
They're identified as Floyd Johnston of Sanger and Jacob Curiel of Imperial.
Their small plane went down Sunday afternoon about two and a half miles outside the town of Woody, which is 25 miles northeast of Bakersfield.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Kern County Sheriff's Department helicopter found the plane wreckage earlier Tuesday morning after the FAA says air traffic controllers lost radar contact with the plane.
The FAA registry lists the plane as registered to Floyd Johnston Construction Company out of Clovis.
Johnston's daughter provided a photo of her father and told CBS47, "My father was very vital, active man who loved his life. He had a tremendous passion for flying, and he died doing what he loved."
