Fresno police are investigating an overnight shooting.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning near Olive & First in Fresno.

The suspect walked up and shot a man in front of an apartment complex on Clay Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police believe the shooting was gang related.
