Police are investigating a shooting near Shaw and Marks in Fresno.
The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon near Shaw and Marks.
Police say a man was hit multiple times.
The victim, a known gang member, is in critical condition but is expected to survive.
Lt. Anthony Martinez with the Fresno Police Department said, "The victim that was shot was recognized by some of the initial officers that arrived here as a gang member."
There is no word on any suspects at this time and the name of the victim has not been released.
