One Dead in Orange Cove Police Shooting

One man is dead after an officer involved shooting in Orange Cove.

It happened on Fourth Street near H Street.

As of Tuesday night, the man who was shot and killed had not been identified.

Orange Cove police were called to the home on Fourth Street around four o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

His family called police. They said he was acting strange.

It's unknown what prompted Orange Cove police to fire their weapons. Investigators said two officers fired.

The man they shot was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Fresno Sheriff's Department is investigating the shooting for the Orange Cove Police Department.
