A well known doctor from Oakhurst is in critical condition following a head-on crash in Coarsegold Sunday night.
A suspected drunk driver hit Dr. John McBride on Highway 41 near Mecca Lane.
The driver, 52-year-old Cathy Robertson of Los Banos, fled the scene but was later caught.
She now faces DUI and hit and run charges.
