North Valley murder suspect in custody

A Merced County murder suspect is in custody.

35-year-old Jason Reed is suspected of killing his father.

Reed was arrested at a truck stop in Lodi on Thursday.

67-year-old JD Reed was found shot to death at his home in Delhi on New Year's Day.

An anonymous tip apparently led detectives to the suspect.
