The Cat House on the Kings opened their doors for an open house and fund raiser this weekend.
The shelter in Parlier along the Kings River is the largest No-cage, No-kill shelters in California. At the open house, the cats took center stage and laps and cuddles and all sorts of loving.
Kids also dressed up in costume for a costume contest. They won free passes to an amusement park and got a trick or treat candy just for participating.
There is also a book just released called "500 Cats" about Cat House on the Kings. A portion of proceeds will go to the shelter.
