A murder suspect heads to court to answer to charges.
25-year-old Michael Crockell is facing murder charges and two attempted murder charges.
Investigators say he stabbed 46-year-old Lisa Gilvary 14 times in her home near the Tower District early Monday morning. Gilvary died at the scene.
They say he also stabbed the victim's roommate and a Fresno police officer responding to the 911 call.
The roommate and the police officer are recovering.
There is still no clear motive in the case.
