Fresno police are investigating the shooting death that happened Saturday morning at an apartment complex in southwest Fresno.
The murder took place around 11:00 a.m. at the Kearney Cooley Plaza Apartments, located on Delno Avenue, near the Chandler Airport.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Wayne Devine.
Officers found Devine when they were responding to a call of multiple shots fired at the apartment complex.
Devine was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the motive is unclear. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno Police Department.
