A murder at a Merced care home for the elderly.

Police arrested 21-year-old Evan James Lovett for allegedly killing a middle-aged man Monday night.

The unidentified victim was found murdered inside Accesscare Home of Merced.

Police arrested Lovett Tuesday morning after he crashed a car that was registered to the murder victim who lived at the elderly care home.

A neighbor tells CBS47, the crime may have involved money.
