Seven Fresno children missing since Saturday have been found safe and sound.
Late Thursday night Fresno police confirmed to CBS47 News that the seven children were found safe at the father's home in Sacramento.
Fresno police didn't want to go on camera, but released a statement saying an, "FBI Task Force For Crimes Against Children found the children unharmed and in good spirits."
One neighbor says the news comes as a relief. It's been nearly five days since anyone had heard from the children or the father, Za Yang.
"We're happy to be hearing good news and not bad news, we don't want to hear it at all," said neighbor, Steven Moungvieng.
The four boys and three girls were last seen Saturday playing around their apartment.
Police believed the biological father, Yang picked them up while their mother was at the grocery store.
They say the dad had been estranged from the children for the last three years.
Detectives stopped by the area Wednesday to speak with neighbors to hopefully gain clues.
"I would worry to if my kid was missing," said neighbor, Kevin Cab.
The Fresno and Sacramento Police Departments say they'll be investigating further to determine if a crime was committed while the children were away with their father.
