Her last name is one that is remembered by law enforcement officers across the Valley.

Officers have arrested the woman who was part of a high profile tragedy in Minkler.

Diane Liles was inside a trailer with her husband Rick Liles when he killed a Fresno County sheriff's deputy and a Reedley police officer.

Diane Liles is now under arrest. And among her belongings, investigators found one of her late husband’s possessions.

Diane Liles has been living with her boyfriend 39 year old Michael Shawn Anderson at a home in the small Tulare County town of London.

When CBS47 showed up, Anderson's family wasn't happy to see us.

In the backyard of the home, investigators found a stolen Chevy avalanche.

It was being dismantled, chopped up for parts.

“It was covered with a tarp and boards and pallets in the back,” said Sgt. Chuck Mosley with the Tulare County Reduce Auto Theft Team.

Even though Liles and Anderson tried to hide the stolen truck, it was still found.

And the license plate was discovered inside the home Michael Shawn Anderson and Diane Liles shared.

Investigators also found something belonging to Liles’ late husband Rick - his driver's license.

“That is a familiar name to all law enforcement in the central valley,” said Sgt. Mosley.

On February 25th, 2010, Rick Liles killed Fresno Sheriff's Deputy Joel Wahlenmaier and Reedley Police Corporal Javier Bejar.

Rick Liles was under investigation for shooting at neighbors and starting fires.

Liles and his wife Diane were barricaded in their trailer for hours, while Liles shot at officers.

Officers fired back - hundreds of times.

Eventually Diane surrendered. Rick Liles took his own life.

Diane never faced any criminal charges in the shooting.

Diane Liles’ boyfriend has a criminal past. Michael Shawn Anderson is on parole for burglary.

Now the pair faces auto theft charges and charges of running a chop shop.

Diane Liles and Anderson are each being held on fifty-thousand dollars bond.
