The issue of local governments banning medical marijuana dispensaries is heading to the State Supreme Court.
The court is hearing arguments on whether local governments can ban retail pot sops within their borders.
About 200 cities and counties already have, including Fresno County.
Advocates say the state's medical marijuana laws do give local governments some power, but not enough to outlaw them altogether.
