In Madera County, law enforcement agents conducted two simultaneous raids after receiving a tip of a grow site located near Ellis Street and Road 28 ¼.
Agents seized 100 plants along with 50 lbs. of processed pot. They recovered a stolen shotgun and arrested close 11 men, ranging in ages from 51 down to 19.
Madera County’s narcotics team, sheriff's deputies and police officers discovered a tent outdoors where the plants were growing. Agents believe the suspects transported the weed from Road 28 ¼ to a home off Road 26, which was just a few miles south of the Madera Golf and Country Club. At this house is where the pot was being dried and the buds harvested.
