Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man, accused of kidnapping and assaulting a 10-year-old Fresno girl.

The SWAT team released tear gas around 7:30 this morning, moved in, then handcuffed the suspect. He's identified as 23-year-old Kalvin Michael Cardenas.
Investigators say the victim was riding her bike near Maple and Gettysburg in Fresno Tuesday morning, when a man grabbed her and tossed her bike and her in the truck He then drove a few miles away and assaulted her.
Seven hours later, a couple spotted the girl walking along the side of the road in the Kerman area. Her hands were tied. They took her to their home and called 911.
Overnight, deputies found the suspect's truck at a Fresno apartment complex. They spoke with four men there, but the suspect was not at that location. They later tracked him down to the Clovis home. Several nearby homes were evacuated, because deputies believed the suspect had a gun.
