Investigators say Hector Celaya had a criminal past

A 31 year old man, Hector Celaya was fatally wounded when Tulare County Sheriff's deputies shot him after they say he shot 6 of his family members; 4 of them died. 

Celaya is a resident at Tule River Indian Reservation. 

Celaya had was no stranger to law enforcement. He had an extensive record, including misdemeanor for battery.

His son and daughter are in critical/serious condition at CRMC.
