A rehabilitation center for injured wild animals is recovering from an injury of its own.
A few weeks ago, a tree branch crushed part of the large flight cage at Critter Creek Wildlife Station in Squaw Valley.
The flight cage is a place for their animals, including a baby bald eagle, to learn how to hunt and fly so they can be released into the wild.
Donations and volunteer labor is helping make repairs. It is expected to be complete in time for their open house Saturday, September 29th.
